Ron Vaisbort

VP and General Counsel

Ron joined Good Technology in June 2011 as Vice President and General Counsel. A veteran of the technology, media, and entertainment industries for more than 20 years, Ron has been at the forefront of numerous innovative business concepts—as both an attorney and a technology business development leader. Prior to joining Good, Ron was a founder and head of licensing, business and legal affairs for startups including Mañana Media, Layer Dynamics and Ripple Networks. Ron also served as Intel Corporation's Media & Entertainment Alliances Director in Intel's Corporate Licensing Group, where he was engaged in the licensing of Intel's extensive patent portfolio. Ron also served as Senior Investment Manager for Intel Capital, responsible for diverse patent and technology acquisitions. Prior to Intel, Ron was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Trillium Digital Systems.

Ron's expertise is leading legal and business development teams with a focus on international IP creation, protection and commercialization strategy, licensing, and technology alliances.

Ron holds a BA in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley; and a JD, Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School.
